Behind the Songs
"May the voice of the Bride be heard across the nations and continents, as she prepares herself for the coming Bridegroom King!"
During the first 'lockdown of 2020', siblings Martin, Stephen & Heidi began writing and recording songs together, picking up where they had left off three decades ago in their family home in England.
Despite being separated by thousands of miles, they discovered that distance is no barrier for working together as musicians and worshipers.
Across nations and continents, they now bring songs that express a deep love and yearning for the Lord Jesus.
While countless hours and resources have been invested into the creating and recording of music, we want them to be available to you as a resource to connect with the Lord in worship and longing for Him.
In these last days we will see the re-establishing of David's Tabernacle, which is significant on so many levels.
With many more songs in the pipeline, we'd like to make our songs available, so we just ask that you donate what you feel led to.
His Beloved Music
Martin Bankart
"If there were only one way to communicate,
I would write a song"
As a young teenager aged 14, Martin first discovered the communicational power of music that could bypass all else and touch the heart of the listener.
The third of five children, Martin quickly became a competent guitarist and made it his "spiritual weapon" (Psalm 144), writing songs based on Scripture and crafting his own psalms to the Lord. While song writing is his passion, Martin's devotion is to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Married with one child, Martin lives on the edge of the Black Forest in Germany and serves both as deacon and worship leader in his local church where he has written songs and musical arrangements for special occasions and invested countless hours in the worship ministry.

Stephen Bankart
"To know Him, and to be known by Him"
Raised with ample exposure to classical music by parents who lived in Godly fear of the Lord, one might say that Stephen was shaped by spiritual truth, musical intervals and rhythm. The musical aspect of this ‘shaping’ existed mostly in his imagination until finally, aged about 14, he was prompted by his elder brother to pick up the bass guitar.
Stephen longs to see the body of Christ rise up in their calling to live fully surrendered to Jesus, empowered by Holy Spirit, in true worship of our glorious heavenly Father – especially as the day of Jesus’ return draws nearer.
Recording for His Beloved has to fit around the many planned power cuts that plague South Africans. Stephen lives near George in the Garden Route with his wife Carol, a gifted illustrator. They serve as elders in their local church where they also lead worship.

Heidi Tiplady
"True worship is ministering unto God Himself."
The youngest of five musical siblings, Heidi grew up surrounded by song. (The family even earned themselves the nickname 'Van Trapp' from their occasional folk song performances.) Heidi began playing piano in worship settings from as young as 9 years old, first in the home and then in her local church.
More than anything, Heidi desires the presence of God to be felt tangibly when playing her instrument, and for true worship to ascend to the Throne of God.
Heidi loves spontaneous, prophetic worship and orchestrating other forms of creativity.
She and her husband Andy lead a congregation in Sheffield England where they live with their son, Joshua.
